Derrick Kershaw Partnership has applied for the award in relation to our delivery of the Green Lane Centre project in Whitby. The Centre is a regeneration project upon which Derrick Kershaw Partnership has acted as Designers, Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors and CDM Co-ordinators. In partnership with the local authority and Coast & Moors Voluntary Action, we have set ourselves the highest possible targets.
The partnership has had 4 major benefits:
- Meaningful and detailed engagement with local residents and stakeholders in the redevelopment of Green Lane site.
- Design & Development of the scheme to the highest standards of environmental excellence, both in terms of visual blending and energy efficiency.
- Ensuring that our building project has been delivered within our budgetary limitations.
- Ensuring completed building is inspirational and future proof.
The long-term ambition of the partnership is cultural change and new spirit of ownership within East Whitby and the wider local community.
