Ultra Fast Track Project
Project Manager, Richard Webster, from Derrick Kershaw Partnership has now brought the high risk project at Bradford into one of its final phases as the modular units have been delivered. During this “ultra fast-track” modular ward development at Bradford Royal Infirmary, a systems approach to project managing has been adopted.
The approach has been based on:
- effective communication
- effective co-operation
- effective teamwork
- trust
The Fast Track Project Timeline:
1st July - Project inception
18 th August - Construction commencement
1st September - Planning consent granted
2nd September - Client sign-off of ward design layout
27th October - Modular units delivery
22nd December - Handover of ward accommodation
Target: To have the wards occupied before Christmas 2008.
