Agriculture centre's framing completed
Construction of the £5.1m Regional Agricultural Centre for the North of England at the Great Yorkshire Showground reached a significant milestone with the completion of its timber frame. The project will provide a shop showcasing the best of produce from the region, a café and suite of offices, which will house the charity's staff and other agriculture-related enterprises.
Derrick Kershaw Partnership is acting as Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors and CDM Co-ordinators on the new sustainable build constructed at the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate. The high quality office block has an attached Farm Shop and 80-seater Café which will promote locally sourced food. Sustainable principles have been incorporated in the plan to ensure the building has the minimum impact on the environment.
