Yorkshire firms in line for property oscars

The Pro Yorkshire Awards 2009 shortlist announced that Derrick Kershaw Parnership has been shortlisted for two projects: Shibden Park and the Green Lane Neigbourhood centre.

Each of the contenders will compete to become overall winners in their respective categories, with one short listed entry going on to win the top prize of Pro Yorkshire Project of the Year. This is a highly regarded award and is presented to a nominee that has excelled above all other submissions.

The eight categories are; Building Conservation, Commercial, Community Benefit, Design & Innovation, Regeneration, Residential, Sustainability and Tourism & Leisure. The regional winners are automatically entered into the national RICS Awards, where they compete against other leading projects from across the UK.
