Derrick Kershaw (1920- 2011)

Derrick Kershaw (1920- 2011)

We were given the sad news late last week that our friend and founder Derrick Kershaw had died.

Derrick Kershaw established the practice 50 years ago having been the Chief Quantity Surveyor for York City Council.  The partnership expanded quickly mainly in the public sector, continuing Derrick's ties with Local Authorities and expanding into the Health Sector with a close working relationship with the adjacent offices of the Yorkshire Regional Health Authority.

Derrick had close links with the church and soon the Partnership gained a reputation for ecclesiastical restoration projects including the historic refurbishment of John Wesley's Chapel in Central London.

His work legacy lives on through the company today.

Our thoughts are with his wife Evelyn and family at this sad time.
