DKP wins Quantity Surveying Role for The Street.

The Street - the Youth and Community Development in Scarborough - has awarded the role of Quantity Surveyor to Derrick Kershaw Partnership, in addition to their role as Project Manager.
"We were thrilled by the appointment" said Steve Harland, project manager "as we have worked with Seachange Community Trust (formerly Coast and Moors Voluntary Action) on the award winning Green Lane Community Centre in Whitby - we always like to have our previous work recognised by a client choosing to use us again.

With 3000m² of accommodation over four floors, The Street will provide the following facilities:

  • Dance studio
  • Climbing Wall
  • Office space for community service providers
  • Recording Studio
  • Multi media suite
  • Meeting rooms
  • Gardens and roof terraces
  • Community Café

Work is scheduled to commence in June 2011.
